This is a rosary we've been waiting to make. Everything came together, and we present to you a ladder with AA grade tiger's-eye Hail Mary beads and AA grade kyanite Our Fathers, with a blue-rhinestone ringed Miraculous Medal center and a blue and gold accented Saint Benedict crucifix.

  • Symbolism in This Rosary

Blue is the color most associated with heaven and the most used color in the Tabernacle of the Temple. The Virgin Mary often wears blue in her apparitions, and it is the color of God’s divine grace.

Gold is mentioned 361 times (or is it 417?) in the Bible and in 42 of its books. It was the currency of the wealthy, and was prominent in the Tabernacle and in the Temple of Solomon.

Tiger’s-Eye is a brown stone of the quartz group that displays “chatoyancy,” or a changing of colors as the stone is viewed from different angles.

Kyanite is a striking natural blue gemstone whose names derives from the Greek word for “blue.” It is an index mineral, as it forms only under a specific temperature and pressure. It can exhibit chatoancy, and it often exhibits a range of blues. It has a rare quality of different hardnesses depending on the direction it is struck. Until the 20th Century, it was often mistaken for sapphire.

The Miraculous Medal is based on an apparition of Our Lady of Grace to Sister Catherine Laboure. It contains an image of Mary with rays of graces extending from her hands with the words “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” On the back is a ring of twelve stars, the letter M surmounted by a cross, and two hearts---the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The Saint Benedict crucifix has a long history and a complex symbolism. The Order of Saint Benedict does the best job clearly explaining the details.

  • Warranty

Our goal is to provide you a rosary, not just sell you a rosary. We use only stainless steel eyepins, linkages, and jump rings for both their strength and durability. If there is any defect in the workmanship of a rosary you purchase from us, please let us know, and we will make it right, free of charge, including shipping, within the first year of purchase. Also, for as long as we make rosaries (a lifetime, we hope!), if a rosary we made for you ever has a broken linkage, eyepin, or jump ring, we will be happy to repair it, with cost limited to shipping. Whatever we can do to keep you praying!
