Shells and Pearls
Rosary with freshwater pearl Hail Mary beads and shell Our Fathers, with an Our Lady of Grace center and a many hearts crucifix.
Symbolism in This Rosary
Pearls are mentioned in the Bible as a symbol of great value, such as the man who traded all he had for one beautiful pearl, as well as the material of the gates of Heaven.
Shell, in tradition, has come to represent our baptism---even the dishes used by priests to pour water over the heads of catechumens are often shaped like scallops. It has come be closely associated with Saint James, the Apostle, and his missionary journey to Iberia. Also, from shells we retrieve pearls, the material of the gates of heaven.
Our Lady of Grace’s image is depicted on the Miraculous Medal. Graces pour forth from her hands, if we will only ask for them.
Our goal is to provide you a rosary, not just sell you a rosary. We use only stainless steel eyepins, linkages, and jump rings for both their strength and durability. If there is any defect in the workmanship of a rosary you purchase from us, please let us know, and we will make it right, free of charge, including shipping, within the first year of purchase. Also, for as long as we make rosaries (a lifetime, we hope!), if a rosary we made for you ever has a broken linkage, eyepin, or jump ring, we will be happy to repair it, with cost limited to shipping. Whatever we can do to keep you praying!
