Symbolism in This Roary
Brown reminds us of the earth, of the dust from which we are formed, of the sands of time, and of the trunks and branches of trees. There is a strength to it; it serves as a point of origin and foundation, and sustains and supports us into the future.
Blue is the color most associated with heaven and the most used color in the Tabernacle of the Temple. The Virgin Mary often wears blue in her apparitions, and it is the color of God’s divine grace.
Shell, in tradition, has come to represent our baptism---even the dishes used by priests to pour water over the heads of catechumens are often shaped like scallops. It has come be closely associated with Saint James, the Apostle, and his missionary journey to Iberia. Also, from shells we retrieve pearls, the material of the gates of heaven.
The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph is the model for all Christian families. Their fiat and their lives can inspire our own devotion and our prayers.
The pardon crucifix was approved by Pope Saint Pius X in 1905 with five different indulgences granted through its use.
Our goal is to provide you a rosary, not just sell you a rosary. We use only stainless steel eyepins, linkages, and jump rings for both their strength and durability. If there is any defect in the workmanship of a rosary you purchase from us, please let us know, and we will make it right, free of charge, including shipping, within the first year of purchase. Also, for as long as we make rosaries (a lifetime, we hope!), if a rosary we made for you ever has a broken linkage, eyepin, or jump ring, we will be happy to repair it, with cost limited to shipping. Whatever we can do to keep you praying!
