Rosary with round polished golden obsidian Hail Mary beads and round polished pyrite Our Father beads, with a bronze Madonna and Child center and a bronze sunburst crucifix.
Symbolism in This Rosary
Obsidian is a rock that forms when lava comes into contact with water and cools very quickly. Depending on the composition of the lava, it can have a variety of qualities and additional colors beyond its characteristic black
Pyrite derives its name for the Greek work for “fire,” and was used as a fire-starter in place of flint since prehistoric times, as it sparks when struck against iron or steel. Also called “fool’s gold,” its raw form resembles gold nuggets---it is actually, in its pure form, iron sulfide, and was mined to produce sulfur before sulfur was more easily obtained from oil.
Our goal is to provide you a rosary, not just sell you a rosary. We use only stainless steel eyepins, linkages, and jump rings for both their strength and durability. If there is any defect in the workmanship of a rosary you purchase from us, please let us know, and we will make it right, free of charge, including shipping, within the first year of purchase. Also, for as long as we make rosaries (a lifetime, we hope!), if a rosary we made for you ever has a broken linkage, eyepin, or jump ring, we will be happy to repair it, with cost limited to shipping. Whatever we can do to keep you praying!
